Plants That Are Toxic to Pets (and Humans)

This list has been compiled from information gathered from various sources.

Because a plant appears on this list does not mean that it will be fatal to your pet if ingested. Some plants are extremely toxic whilst others will just cause a stomach upset or similar symptom, although any plant, eaten in great volumes may cause serious harm.

Some of the names may not be familiar to you as plants we know, as plants are known under different names in various regions. I therefore recommend that you check the Latin botanical name rather than the common name.

This list Does Not include ALL plants that are harmful to pets. To be on the safe side, always stop your pet & childeren eating any plant and if you are in any doubt always contact your vet or doctor.
